Elderslie High School is proud to announce the launch of our Year 7 Enrichment Class. This program is designed to challenge and inspire students who seek to go beyond the standard curriculum. Through a dynamic blend of critical thinking exercises, collaborative learning experiences and a high expectation environment, students will be immersed in high quality learning across all subject areas. Our experienced educators will guide students in developing their skills, igniting their passions, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

In this enrichment class, students will engage in a range of learning activities aligned with the Department of Education’s High Potential Gifted Education (HPGE) policy. They will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills through engaging lessons incorporating the four domains of HPGE: intellectual; creative; social/emotion and physical. From conducting experiments in our science labs to creating digital media projects, showcasing their talents to a variety of audiences and participating in a wide range of extracurricular activities, students will enhance their understanding and appreciation of the world around them while building essential knowledge and skills for the future.

Moreover, the Year 7 Enrichment Class at Elderslie High School emphasises personal growth and self-discovery. Students will be encouraged to express their unique perspectives, share their ideas, and take ownership of their learning. By fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, we aim to cultivate confidence and resilience in our students, preparing them not only for academic success but also for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Don’t miss the chance to embark on this enriching adventure!
